The PET fabric consists of polyester monofilaments and multifilaments with a defined thread thickness of 0.25 mm (±0.02 mm). The textile construction enables high mechanical strength combined with low weight.
The material is designed for a permanent temperature range of −50 °C to +150 °C. The melting point is approx. +250 °C (±5 °C).
The polyester fabric is self-extinguishing according to UL 94 V-0 and complies with fire standard UN ECE R-118-03 Annex 8. It is silicone-free, halogen-free, and RoHS-compliant.
With an average abrasion resistance of 2000 double strokes according to ISO 6722-1, the fabric offers a robust surface for industrial applications. In addition, the material has good resistance to brake fluid, fuel, engine oil, and other typical media.
