Numerous critical or safety-relevant components are subjected to enormous stress by external heat sources, increasing compression in the engine compartment and increasing requirements (e.g. the EU7 emissions standard). All types of units, cables, hoses and sensors must be protected from radiant heat, metal splashes and flames.

Zipper technology offers precisely fitting, customer-specific and reliable solutions that cover a wide temperature range from <100° to 650° C. Glass fabric with a heat-reflecting surface, flame-retardant hoses or self-adhesive laminates can be made in almost any shape and size for effective protection.
