SAM-1000 is an all-rounder: Silicone-impregnated fiberglass fabric with a heat-reflecting aluminum foil laminated with a high-temperature adhesive. The combination makes SAM-1000 a flexible and durable heat protection material with excellent abrasion properties. SAM-1000 is best suited for medium-temperature heat protection applications where a mechanically robust sheath is required. Its properties make SAM-1000 the ideal choice for under-the-hood applications in the automotive, truck and bus industries. The material has an operating temperature range of -50 °C to 240 °C, with 270 °C permitted for short periods.
