This material is self-extinguishing according to FMVSS 302, which corresponds to DIN 75200. The material is also UV and ozone stabilized. The trademarked Trevira material offers excellent wear resistance (50,000 cycles according to DIN 53863 T4) combined with high tear resistance in a lightweight and flexible canvas material. Covers are available for various cable configurations and are typically closed with a zipper, Velcro or a sewn closure. Trevira has a service range of -40 °C to 160 °C.
