Material Specification: gp 05
View full details

Soft PVC film, 0.5 mm thick, self-extinguishing, cadmium-free, continuous operating temperature up to 105°C. Available in various diameters and with overlaps. Typical applications: automotive, transportation, robotics, energy, power and utilities.

ZTD-GP-05-B is a closed cable sheath with a mechanically stable D-lock for demanding industrial applications. The material is based on a soft, self-extinguishing PVC film, characterized by high flexibility, abrasion resistance, and resistance to liquids, chemicals, UV radiation, and ozone.

The D-shaped connector creates a secure connection through a defined locking mechanism, which can be installed with tools and reopened as needed. The sheathing is ideally suited for cable diameters from 20 to 100 mm and withstands operating temperatures from -40°C to +105°C. Custom sizes or specific lengths are available upon request.

ZTD-GP-05-B is used where permanent, secure bundling of cable systems subject to mechanical stress is required.

Advantages:

  • D-lock with high holding force (assembly with tools)
  • PVC film: soft, self-extinguishing, cadmium-free
  • Abrasion-resistant, liquid-resistant, UV and ozone resistant
  • Temperature range -40°C to +105°C
  • Suitable for diameters of 20–100 mm, special sizes available on request

Areas of application:

  • Permanent cabling in machines and systems
  • Cable protection in distribution and control systems
  • Retrofittable installations with high mechanical load
  • Infrastructure projects with EMC requirements
