Material Specification: GPS, SHX 2
View full details

RF shielding made of two layers of tinned copper wire mesh and a continuous grounding wire. Soft PVC film, 0.5 mm thick, self-extinguishing, cadmium-free, continuous operating temperature up to 105°C. Available in various diameters, with different backing films, and also with overlap. Typical applications: automotive, transportation, robotics, energy, power, and utilities.

ZTZ-SHX2/GP-05-B-OL is a robust EMC shield for industrial applications with permanent cable runs and high electromagnetic compatibility requirements. The design combines a double-layered, tinned copper wire braided sleeving with a cadmium-free, self-extinguishing GP-05 PVC jacket. A continuous grounding wire ensures standard-compliant equipotential bonding along the entire cable length.

The product achieves an attenuation performance of up to 80 dB in the frequency range of 100 kHz to 1 GHz. The casing provides reliable protection against mechanical impacts, UV radiation, ozone, and environmental influences. The extruded Z-lock ensures a durable and secure seal – installation requires only simple tools.

ZTZ-SHX2/GP-05-B-OL is particularly suitable for permanently installed cable systems where no regular openings are planned. The shielding is available in diameters from 20 to 100 mm. Custom sizes are available upon request.

Advantages:

  • Two-layer copper braid with continuous EMC grounding wire
  • High shielding attenuation (40–80 dB at 100 kHz–1 GHz)
  • GP-05 sheathing: PVC, self-extinguishing, cadmium-free
  • Extruded Z-lock for permanent fixation
  • Temperature range -40°C to +105°C
  • Resistant to UV, ozone, liquids and abrasion
  • Available in Ø 20–100 mm, special lengths on request
