The ZT-Heat-Pipe-Flex is a specially developed corrugated tube that offers an outstanding combination of heat protection, flexibility, and mechanical stability. It consists of a corrugated protective tube made of double-sided aluminum-coated fiberglass braided hose. The material is dimensionally stable, non-flammable, and offers excellent temperature resistance.
The corrugated structure of the material, with a wall thickness of 2 ± 0.5 mm, ensures high dimensional stability while remaining flexible enough for easy use in various applications. This significantly simplifies installation, especially in confined spaces or with complex routing.
Thanks to its excellent heat resistance and resistance to hydrocarbons, gasoline, oils, solvents, and chemical agents, the ZT-Heat-Pipe-Flex is ideally suited for use in environments with extremely high temperatures, such as in engine and exhaust systems, industrial high-temperature plants, and in aerospace technology.
The protective tube is available in various inner diameters from 9 mm to 40 mm, providing a suitable solution for every application. The continuous operating temperature range is between -40°C and 250°C.
