The ZTD tool is a stainless steel pliers tool designed for closing Zipper-technik D-Track products.
It has two roller wheels that grip under the outer eyelets of the D-Track profile. By squeezing the handles together, the locking mechanism is contracted and when pulled along the cable bundle, the D-Track jacket forms around the cable harness and is closed into a continuous tube.
This tool allows for quick and easy closing of D-Track and makes the operator's job easier. The ZTD tool is primarily intended for use in high-volume production lines where hundreds or thousands of meters of material must be closed. For closing short runs or for performing on-site installations, we also recommend using the plastic slider.
