Double-reflective heat protection material – aluminum foil laminated with ZT Flex-HT 270 silicone adhesive onto E-glass fabric, reverse side coated with an additional reflective layer. Continuous operating temperature up to max. 250°C. Available in various diameters and with different closure systems.
Typical areas of application: automotive, transportation.

The ZTDr-X-SAM HT 500 DR represents an innovative solution for heat protection and cable sheathing. It consists of an aluminum foil laminated with ZT Flex-HT 270 silicone adhesive onto an E-glass fabric. Additionally, the reverse side is coated with an aluminum-pigmented layer that acts as a reflective layer, thus ensuring even higher thermal efficiency.

For ease of use and quick installation, the product is equipped with rustproof stainless steel snap fasteners. These allow for tool-free installation while providing easy access to the protected cables and wires. The intelligently designed snap fastener arrangement also allows individual cables to be routed without having to cut the sheathing. Furthermore, the material can be cut to the desired length.

Thanks to its outstanding temperature resistance of up to 260°C (briefly up to 280°C), the ZTDr-X-SAM HT 500 DR is ideally suited for protecting cables exposed to extreme thermal stresses. Its high abrasion resistance makes this product indispensable, particularly for applications in the automotive, commercial vehicle, and bus industries.

For applications requiring easy retrofitting – without tools or time-consuming disassembly of existing systems – the ZTDr-X-SAM HT 500 DR offers an ideal solution. The product is available in diameters from 16 mm to 100 mm, with custom designs available upon request. The operating temperature range extends from -50°C to 260°C, with short-term heat resistance up to 280°C.
