Sewn tube made of E-glass fabric, laminated with double-sided aluminized PET film, PU-coated on the reverse side, white. Continuous operating temperature up to max. 180°C. Available in various diameters and with different closure systems. Typical application areas: automotive, transportation.

The ZTFE-ALP 500 is a flexible heat protection solution for the safe bundling and insulation of sensitive cables and wires in thermally demanding environments. The material consists of high-quality E-glass fabric coated with polyurethane on one side and a reflective aluminum foil on the other. Due to its low thickness of only 0.45 mm, the protective sleeve is particularly suitable for applications with limited installation space and high dynamic movement.

The reflective aluminum layer reduces heat radiation to underlying components, while the thermal insulation provided by the glass fabric offers additional protection against convective heat. The ZTFE-ALP 500 has a temperature resistance of -50°C to +180°C, with a radiant heat tolerance of up to 650°C. The materials used are non-flammable, abrasion-resistant, and resistant to common industrial chemicals.

Particular attention has been paid to practical implementation: The protective sleeve is sewn in a teardrop shape and features stainless steel threads that prevent fraying and ensure a robust, durable closure. This design allows for quick and easy installation – even in retrofitted systems. An inverted teardrop shape is also available upon request.

The ZTFE-ALP 500 is available in standard diameters from 8 mm to 100 mm. Custom shapes and sizes can also be manufactured – ideal for tailored applications in mechanical and plant engineering.
