Material Specification: alp 600
View full details

Sewn sleeve made of E-glass fabric, laminated with double-sided aluminized PET film, PU-coated on the reverse side, white. Continuous operating temperature up to max. 180°C. Available in various diameters and with different closure systems. Typical applications: Automotive, transportation.

The ZTFE-ALP 600 is a robustly constructed protective sleeve for technical heat protection and cable protection in industrial high-temperature applications. It consists of durable E-glass fabric coated with polyurethane on one side and a reflective aluminum foil on the opposite side. This combination ensures effective thermal insulation against radiant and ambient heat.

With a material thickness of 0.85 mm, the ZTFE-ALP 600 offers particularly high abrasion resistance and mechanical strength. The aluminum foil reflects radiant temperatures up to 650°C, while the glass fabric structure acts as a thermal barrier. The operating temperature range is from -50°C to +200°C for continuous operation. The material is resistant to oils, greases, and many common industrial chemicals.

For practical handling, the protective sleeve is sewn in a teardrop shape and features stainless steel threads. This design not only ensures a durable closure without fraying but also facilitates tool-free installation – even for retrofitting in complex cable systems.

The ZTFE-ALP 600 is particularly suitable for environments with high mechanical stress. Product availability in diameters from 8 mm to 100 mm, as well as the option of customized adaptations, allows for precise integration into a wide variety of applications.
